Netflix releases Blonde trailer
Mumbai: Popular OTT streaming platform, Netflix unveiled the official trailer of the much-anticipated Hollywood film, Blonde. The Marilyn Monroe biopic features actor Ana De Armas and will premiere on September 23, 2022.
The two minute trailer features Ana who gives viewers a glimpse into the life of Hollywood’s most beloved diva and explores and charts the complicated life of the iconic figure. The trailer begins with a man knocking on the door of a green room.
The next scene features Monroe in front of a mirror and adoring herself by showering the glass reflection with flying kiss. The plot shows Marilyn’s life from childhood days when she was known as Norma Jeane. Monroe even mentions it in the scene, “When I come out of my dressing room, I’m Norma Jean. I’m still her, when the camera is still rolling.”
The biopic even shares glimpses of her romantic connections along with her facing exploitation and other dark issues.
The official synopsis of the film reads, “Discover a life both known and unknown in this boldly imaginative film from Director Andrew Dominik that explores the complicated life of Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe.”
Talking about the film, Ana had shared, “It was such a gift to get to work with actors like Adrien Brody and Bobby Cannavale on this beautiful project. Can’t wait for everyone to see the wonderful work they do in this film.”
Directed by Andrew Dominik, the film includes actors Ana De Armas, Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale, Julianne Nicholson, Xavier Samuel, Evan Williams and Garret Dillahunt in pivotal roles.
