Liger trailer releases on July 21
Mumbai: The trailer of the most-anticipated South Indian film, Liger released on Thursday, July 21, 2022. The film will release across the country on August 25, 2022.
The entire cast and crew, including Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Pandey, and Karan Johar launched the trailer in Hyderabad city on Thursday.
The two-minute trailer also provides a glimpse of boxing legend, Mike Tyson, who is set to mark his debut in the Indian film industry. The gripping trailer takes the audience on a journey of Liger and his mother, played by Ramya Krishnan.
The trailer opens with an MMA fighter, Liger, entering a boxing league as a voiceover explains Liger to be a crossbred son of a lion and tiger. The trailer traces his journey from being a tea-seller to becoming an MMA fighter and representing his country.
The trailer also shows the personal side of Liger, his internal struggles and his relationships, wherein his girlfriend cheats on him.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh and backed by Dharma Productions, Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda, Ramya Krishnan, Ananya Pandey, and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles.
