Liger song Waat Laga Denge releases on July 29
Mumbai: The makers released a new song from the upcoming film, Liger, on Friday, July 29, 2022. The film will hit the theatres on August 25, 2022, in Hindi and Telugu languages.
Titled, Waat Laga Denge, the song features actor Vijay Deverakonda, who announces ‘We are Indians’ in the song. The massy number shows people dancing on the streets to the catchy beats.
The video showcases Liger chasing his opponent in the rink as he played for the nation. He then poses proudly with the Indian flag before making his way to the arena.
It is the second song of the film to have been released before the film. The first song was titled Akdi Pakdi and featured Bollywood actor Ananya Panday.
On his recent debut appearance on Koffee with Karan 7, the Telugu actor talked about film Arjun Reddy and said, “I didn’t find the film misogynistic or anti-feministic or something. It seemed like two people who had a very unique relationship. That was their relationship and to them, it was love.”
“Imagine you have been in a relationship which was abusive and then you see this film, it’s painful to watch this happening on screen. These are your worst nightmares as a woman, as a wife, or as a girlfriend and you see it playing out on a screen. You hate it. And I understand that you disagree with it, and I respect that you don’t like it,” he added.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh and backed by Dharma Productions, Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda, Ramya Krishnan, Ananya Pandey, Mike Tyson, and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles.
