J P Nadda is Corona Positive, Gone into Home Isolation
NEW DELHI, Dec 13: The BJP national president J P Nadda has tested positive for Corona.
Nadda himself gave the information in a tweet in Hindi and advised all those who have come in contact with him during the last few days also to get themselves tested.
Nadda said he was feeling “fine” but has gone into home isolation and was following all the advices of the doctors and the guidelines for home quarantine.
“I got the test done after experiencing the initial symptoms of corona and the report came back positive. My health is fine and I have been following all the guidelines for home isolation on the advice of doctors,” Nadda tweeted in Hindi.
The BJP chief has asked those who have come in contact with him to get tested. “I request everyone who has come in contact with me in the last few days to please isolate yourself and get yourself checked,” Nadda said.
Nadda has just returned from a trip to West Bengal where his convoy was stoned allegedly by the Trinamool Congress workers. Though he himself remained unscathed, several BJP workers were injured and a few cars in the convoy damaged in stone throwing on December 10 when the BJP chief was going to address a meeting in Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha constituency.
Meanwhile, India on Sunday reported 30,254 new Covid-19 cases taking the cumulative number of cases to 98.57 lakhs.
