New Delhi: First time in the last five month – India has reported less than 27000 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. The nation had reported 26506 new coronavirus cases last on 10th July, 2020 and 26567 new cases registered on December 7.

India has achieved a significant milestone in its fight against COVID. With a high number of COVID patients recovering every day and the sustained fall in the mortality rate, India’s steady trend of registering dipping active cases continues.

India’s active caseload has fallen under the 4 percent mark today. On December 8 – India reports 3.83 lakh active cases of coronavirus.

In the last 24 hours – more than 39 thousand coronavirus infected people recovered successfully.

In the last 24 hours – Ten States and Union territories have contributed 72.50 of the new cases, in which Kerala has reported 3,272 cases in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra recorded 3,075 new cases while West Bengal has registered 2,214 new cases yesterday.
