Gujarat’s Aniket Patel bags Two Silver and One bronze in the 18th Senior National Soft Tennis Championship
Ahmedabad: A-20-year old boy from Gujarat Aniket Patel won Two Silver and one Bronze medal in the 18th Senior National Soft Tennis Championship. In Individual Mix Doubles, Aniket Patel and Nishtha Trivedi won silver for Gujarat, and in Individual Doubles Men Aniket Patel and Ajay Sodhatar won a Bronze medal for Gujarat.
The 18th Senior National Championship was organized by the Amateur Soft Tennis Association of Madhya Pradesh in Dewas from September 26 to September 30.
Aniket and Nishtha defeated Joseph and Sanju from Kerala in the second round by 3-0, and beaten Veahith and Anusha from Andhra Pradesh in the Quarter-final by 3-0.
Further, Aniket and Nishtha won against Yogesh and Tushita from Madhya Pradesh in Semi-Final. They won against them by 3-0, and beaten Jay and Adhya from Madhya Pradesh in Tournament’s Final.
In Individual Doubles Men Aniket and Ajay beat Sameer and Indu from Punjab, Nitin, and Vikas from Haryana in the second and the third round respectively.
Harjasleen and Panakj from Punjab in Quarter-final and Abhishek and Yashpal from Madhya Pradesh in Semi-final are defeated by two Gujarati boys in 18th Senior National Championship.
