New Delhi, July 17: When introduced to Real Madrid fans on Tuesday, French footballer Kylian Mbappe said his childhood dream of playing for this football club had come true, the media reported.
Mbappe,25, speaking to a crowd of over 80,000 fans at Real Madrid Stadium, said he was dreaming for a long time to play for Real Madrid FC.
“I spent endless nights dreaming about one day playing for Real Madrid and today I’m one happy guy. It’s an incredible day for me. I’ve dreamt of this day since I was a kid and this day means a lot to me.” he said.
The World Cup winner Mbappe signed a five-year contract at Real Madrid FC early this month after his contract with Paris Saint Germain FC expired in June.
He left Paris Saint Germain FC after spending seven seasons at the club and scoring 256 goals in 308 appearances.
