New Delhi, May 20: Manchester City Football Club won its fourth consecutive Premier League title after beating 3-1 West Ham United on Sunday, the media reported.
Since it was founded in 1880, Manchester City FC has won eight Premier League titles, and six under Pep Guardiola alone as their head coach.
“It feels just as amazing as the first one. We worked so hard for it. It has been a tough battle with Liverpool this year. To be here again doing something historic is amazing,” City player Kevin de Bruyne said.
Manchester City FC has become the first team in the history of English football to win four consecutive Premier League titles.
Since Guardiola joined Manchester City in 2016, it has won 17 trophies and he still has the chance to win his 18th trophy as he is set to face Manchester United in the FA Cup final next week.
Pep Guardiola is now one of the most decorated coaches in football history with 38 trophies, which he has won from FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City FC.
