Education: To keep exam stress away, learn a bit everyday
Ahmedabad: Students appearing in various examinations often feel the stress of performance and many, despite putting up long hours and hard work in the last couple of months, remain unsatisfied with the results.
The main reason for this disappointment is their belief that they can relax for 10 months of the year and work out in the remaining two. It is like fasting for 10 months and eating in the last two months to make up for the backlog!
This approach to the studies and examination is wrong. Remember, the slowly moving tortoise wins the race against the rabbit.
The best and the most balanced way to approach an examination with calmness and confidence is to inculcate curriculum studies as part of the hobby. Imbibe a little of every subject daily the way you learn music or dance and let your mind assimilate it. Our brains have a limited capacity to absorb new ideas and keep memories. Refrain from cluttering the brain with too much information in too short a time.
It is like digesting food. If we eat too much in a short time, we could suffer from indigestion.
