Ahmedabad: This year a total of 9189 candidates will appear for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2022) for admission to professional courses. The entrance examination will be conducted on April 18, 2022.
The examination will be held across 46 schools in the state with an intensive CCTV surveillance for thorough monitoring.
A senior officer of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) revealed that each classroom will allow a seating capacity of 20candidates instead of 30.
“Though the exam will use optical mark readers (OMRs) to assess answer sheets, the Board will ensure that students are seated far away from each other to prevent cheating,” the officer added.
GUJCET had released entrance exam admit cards exactly five days ago. Candidates are requested to keep checking the official GUJCET for instructions and exam-related updates.
