Mumbai: The second Test between India and Sri Lanka, a pink ball game starting on Saturday, could witness a full house after the Karnataka State Cricket Association on Thursday allowed 100 percent crowd attendance for the match owing to a sharp decline in COVID-19 cases and high demand for tickets.

Virat Kohli is the only Indian cricketer to score a century in a day-night Test match.

India has played three day-night Tests so far, winning two at home and losing the third in Australia, which they lost after being bowled out for 36 in the first innings.

Virat Kohli leads the Indian batting charts in pink-ball Tests with the most runs. In four innings of pink-ball Tests, the former captain has scored 241 runs at an average of 60.25. Kohli is the first Indian batsman to make a century in pink-ball Tests, scoring 136 against Bangladesh in India’s innings victory in Kolkata, the country’s first-ever day-night match. It was also the last occasion Virat Kohli hit a century in international cricket.

Virat Kohli got off to a fantastic start in his 100th Test, but he was bowled by Lasith Embuldeniya at Mohali last week.
