New Delhi: India registered 2,541 new Covid-19 cases and 30 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 5,22,223. (April 25, 2022). There are 16,522 current active cases, According to data issued by the Ministry of Health on Monday.
In the last 24 hours, the active Covid-19 case has grown by 649 patients. Today, 1,862 recoveries were made in the country, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 4,25,21,341.
The active cases make up 0.04 percent of the total caseload, according to the government, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate is 98.75 percent.
According to the health authority, 1,083 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Delhi on Sunday, with a positive rate of 4.48 percent and one individual dying from the disease. The number of people infected in the national capital is currently 18,74,876 and the number of people who have died is 26,168.
According to the CSSE, the United States continues to be the worst-affected country, with the highest number of cases and deaths (80,984,914 and 991,254, respectively). With 43,057,545, India has the second-highest caseload.
