New Delhi: China wants to reset ties with US. Both sides should work to remove all kinds of disruptions and achieve a smooth transition in China-US relations, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday during a video meeting with business leaders from the US-China Business Council.
On Monday – China called for a reset of its troubled ties with the US under the incoming administration of President-elect Joe Biden to rebuild mutual trust and end months of hostility between the world’s two largest economies.
According to Chinese political experts – President Donald Trump’s four-years in power was the worst phase in the US-China relations as the ruling Communist Party of China (CPC) headed by President Xi Jinping.
China has struggled to deal with Washington under an unpredictable American leader, experts said.
China and the USA fights are on many issues like Trade war, Taiwan, Coronavirus pandemic, Tibet and other issues and Trade war affected China a lot.
Earlier this month, Biden, a Democrat, confirmed that he will not make any “immediate moves” to lift the punitive tariffs that the Trump administration has imposed before a full review of the existing trade deal.
