Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 set for a Comic Book Adaptation
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan took to social media on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, and revealed that his recent Bollywood horror-comedy film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, will be adapted into a comic book series.
The actor took to Instagram and shared an animated poster of the upcoming comics with a caption that translated as, “Rooh Baba aur unki kahaniyan has now entered the Bhool Bhulaiyaa of comics…this one is for my lil fans.”
Production houses T-Series and Cine1 Studios teamed with Diamond comics, an Indian comic book publisher and distributor, to launch the comic books, Rooh Baba Ki Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which is based on Aryan’s film character for young readers.
Diamond Comics also took to Instagram and shared the news, “Keep the excitement flowing as we introduce Rooh Baba Ki Bhool Bhulaiya comics very soon to entertain you and your family!”
Directed by Anees Bazmee, the horror-comedy film starred actors Kartik Aryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in pivotal roles.
The film released in theatres on May 20, 2022, followed by an OTT release on Netflix, and emerged as one of the biggest films of 2022. The film managed to collect over Rs. 250 crores at the Box Office.
Kartik Aryan will next feature in Shashanka Ghosh’s Freddy and Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada.
