Bank of America-in India’s Kaku Nakhate Accepts U.S. Secretary of State’s Award for Corporate Excellence
Mumbai, President and Country Head Kaku Nakhate accepted the prestigious Secretary of State’s Award for Corporate Excellence (ACE) on behalf of Bank of America in India in the field of Women’s Economic Security. This recognition underscores her remarkable contributions to empowering women through economic initiatives, financial inclusion, and leadership development.
On behalf of the U.S. Mission to India, U.S. Consul General in Mumbai Mike Hankey congratulated Kaku Nakhate for this honor. In his press statement Hankey said “under Kaku’s leadership, Bank of America in India has played a pivotal role in driving impactful programs that promote financial literacy, access to credit, and business opportunities for women. Her efforts have transformed the lives of women, helping them secure economic independence and sustainable livelihoods. “The impact of her work not only strengthens local economies but also uplifts communities by ensuring women are empowered to lead and succeed,” highlighted Hankey.
The Secretary of State’s Award for Corporate Excellence recognizes U.S. companies and officials who uphold high standards of business conduct and contribute to the growth of local communities.
