Bachchhan Paandey Trailer Releases on February 18
Mumbai: The makers released the first official trailer of Bachchhan Paandey on Friday, February 18, 2022. The trailer comes a day after the lead actors, Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon, teased the fans and followers by sharing the film’s new poster on their separate social media handles. Bachchhan Paandey will have a theatrical release on March 18, 2022.
The trailer showcases Kriti Sanon (Myra), a filmmaker, who convinces Arshad Warsi to visit the town of Bagwa for creating a biopic on Akshay Kumar, aka Bachchhan Paandey. It initially traces the journey of Sanon and Warsi to convince Paandey, who is a criminal and a ruthless gangster.
The viewers are introduced to the members of Paandey’s gang. The gang performs gruesome acts of violence to maintain Paandey’s position as a Godfather in the crime world. He is believed to have brutally murdered his rumored girlfriend, Sofie (Jacqueline Fernandez).
Pankaj Tripathi stars as Paandey’s mentor, Bhaves Sir, whereas actor Sanjay Mishra plays the role of a stuttering shopkeeper named Bufferia Chacha in the trailer. Prateik Babbar also features in the trailer.
In the trailer, Paandey narrates a false sob story during the interview to capture Sanon and Warsi’s reactions and laugh at them. He later revealed that he ventured into the crime world because he found it fascinating to commit wrongdoings. Killing people became a sport for him gradually.

Directed by Farhad Samjhi, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, written by Nischay Kuttanda, music by Tanishk Bagchi and Amaal Malik, and distributed by Zee Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Bachchhan Paandey is an upcoming action-comedy film.
