Afghanistan: More than 250 Indian nationals are waiting for rescue
New Delhi: More than 250 Indian nationals stranded in Afghanistan are waiting for their evacuation. As the Taliban take over the country, they have taken shelter in a marriage hall near the airport. They have sent an SOS to the government of India and waiting for their rescue.
Syed Abid Khan, one of the Indians stranded in Afghanistan shared a picture of Indian nationals who are eagerly waiting for their rescue. Around 280 people including women and children have been waiting in a wedding hall near the Kabul airport.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday urged the Indian nationals who need assistance in Afghanistan to contact Special Afghanistan Cell which has been set up by the Indian government to coordinate repatriation and other requests from the war-ravaged country.

Trouble may arise in the war-torn country as the Taliban have started door-to-door searches to find the targets. The US and many other countries are evacuating their nationals from Afghanistan. US President also said that “The US forces may stay long to evacuate all Americans from Afghanistan.”
