13 terrorists of Taliban killed by Panjshir resistance forces: Report
New Delhi: The resistance forces in Afghanistan on Thursday killed 13 Taliban terrorists in a gunfight. The National Resistance Front yesterday said they would continue fighting since their negotiations with the Taliban failed.
The resistance forces on social media said “13 members of the Taliban were killed in an ambush by National resistance in the Chikrinow district of Panjshir province, and one of their tanks was destroyed”
Encouragement chief and commission for the guidance of Taliban – Mullah Amir Khan Motaqi on Wednesday informed media that ” the negotiations with tribal leaders in Panjshir had failed.”
The Panjshir Valley falls in the Hindu Kush mountains, around 90 miles north of Kabul. Taliban terrorists failed to bring this powerhouse of resistance down.
“Both sides have suffered casualties in the fighting that has been going on for the past three days,” Taliban said
Ahmad Massoud, the son of the famous Afghan commander Ahmad Shah Massoud and one of the key faces of the resistance, along with Amrullah Saleh, the first vice president of the former Afghan government, are leading the Panjshir Valley resistance against the Taliban.
“Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate was attacked from some circles in Panjshir who bluff and say they will resist. The Mujahideen reacted to the attack and as a result, the other side has suffered heavy casualties,” Anaamullah Samangani, a member of the Taliban’s cultural commission, said according to local media.
