NEW DELHI, Mar 10: Elon Musk-run Microblogging platform X is currently down as users across the world reported that the app and website were not working properly. Several users said they reported problems in accessing their X feed.
X suffered multiple outages in India on Monday, going down for the third time after first experiencing disruptions around 3:30 pm, according to reports. Till late in the evening, the platform remained inaccessible for thousands of users.
According to Downdetector, the platform faced three outages throughout the day, with interruptions peaking around 3:00 pm with nearly 2,200 reports from Indian users, surging again around 7:30 pm with 1,500 reports, and continuing later around 9:00 pm as users faced further access issues. Data on the DownDetector website showed that over 17,871 complaints were logged regarding microblogging platform around 3.20 pm.
The tracking website showed that nearly 52 percent of problems were related to the website, 41 percent to the app and 8 percent had to do with server connection problems. The platform is yet to release a statement regarding the outage.
Since X experienced an outage, numerous users went to other platforms such as Facebook and Reddit to confirm the same. X was acquired by tech billionaire Elon Musk in 2022. Musk purchased the application for a whopping sum of $44 billion.
