New Delhi: Germany, the US State Department, and even the UN. Infested with anti-India Liberal, Left, and Democratic (LLD) cabal, they have all spoken out of turn, tried to influence India’s ongoing Lok Sabha elections, and somehow sabotage the ruling BJP-led NDA government’s return to power for a third consecutive term.
New Delhi has resolutely rejected their claims to indirectly support the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in an alleged liquor scam, and the due judicial processes underway.
For over a decade, the LLD cabal has supported and sponsored the AAP “convenor” as a “democrat” ignoring that his unstructured outfit lacks internal democracy and has not held intra-party elections. Kejriwal is on record saying that he is an “anarchist.”
His party’s questionable funding sources, including the one by the US-Canada based Khalistani extremist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, who allegedly funded Rs. 130 crore to AAP, are also being probed.
As the LLD’s attempts to generate sympathy for Kejriwal failed, its media wing tried another trick.
The controversial British daily, “The Guardian”, picked up a stale subject to attack the ruling dispensation. It claimed that Indian operatives were behind concerted attacks on targets overseas to kill them—something Canada, the US, and others have all been harping on since last year, and which New Zealand has also rejected.
On Thursday, the External Affairs Ministry junked the paper’s claims that India was conducting targeted killings in Pakistan to eliminate terrorists. Dubbing it as a “false and malicious anti-India propaganda” it quoted External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who had said recently that targeted killings in other countries were “not the Government of India’s policy.”
The British paper had claimed that New Delhi “has implemented a policy of targeting those it considers hostile to India.”
The Guardian report claimed that up to 20 such assassinations were carried out by the Indian intelligence agency Research And Analysis Wing (RAW) since the Pulwama terror attack of 2019, and cited alleged “evidence” supplied by Pakistan and so-called interviews with intelligence officials from both sides of the border.
Quoting an un-named Indian official, the media outlet claimed that India had drawn inspiration from Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and Russia’s KGB—which have been linked to extrajudicial killings on foreign soil—and the killing of Saudi journalist and dissident Jamal Khashoggi in Turkey in 2018.
But the same paper conveniently ignored the extrajudicial killings of the USA’s CIA and the British intelligence networks over the decades—and making several countries in the Middle East and other regions their killing fields. It did not even mention the USA’s extrajudicial killing of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan!
The report claimed Pakistani officials have produced “documents” about some of the killings, which it admitted could not be independently verified. It said Pakistani officials also claimed that the killings were orchestrated by sleeper cells of Indian intelligence established in the UAE.
In the last few weeks, India has rejected undue interference in its judicial processes by the likes of Germany, the US, and even the UN, which all rushed to “defend” Kejriwal’s arrest.
