NEW DELHI, June 9: A bus carrying pilgrims to Shiv Khori temple in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi plunged into a gorge after it was attacked by suspected terrorists on Sunday.
Casualties are feared in the incident and official confirmation is awited. Visuals from the spot showed locals helping in rescue operations as ambulances stood on the side of the road for immediate assistance.
Reinforcements from the police, army, and paramilitary forces were rushed to the spot, the police said. The bus came under attack in Teryath village in Poni area, officials said.
