Ayodhya Seer Ready to Hike Bounty to Behead Udhayanidhi Stalin
NEW DELHI, Sept 5: Paramhans Acharya, a seer from Ayodhya, on Tuesday promised to increase the bounty from the earlier announced Rs 10 crores as reward for the head of the Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin who stirred a controversy by talking about the need to eradicate sanatana dharma and compared it with “malaria” and “dengue.”
While reiterating his death threat to Stalin, the son of the chief minister MK Stalin, the Ayodhya seer said, “If Rs 10 crore is not enough for beheading him (Udhayanidhi), I will increase the reward, but the insult of ‘sanatana dharma’ will not be tolerated.”
Stating that Udhayanidhi with his remarks against Sanatana Dharma had hurt the sentiments of 100 crore people of the country, the Ayodhya seer demanded an apology from the DMK minister. “Whatever development has taken place in the country is because of ‘Sanatana Dharma.’ He should apologise for his statement. He has hurt the sentiments of 100 crore people in the country,” Paramhans Acharya said.
Meanwhile, the DMK supporters in Vellore on Tuesday burnt the effigy of Ayodhya Seer for his death threat to Udhayanidhi. The seer earlier on Monday released a video that showed him holding a poster of Udhayanidhi in one hand and a sword in the other. Staging the symbolic beheading of the DMK minister, he was also seen setting the poster on fire. The seer announced a reward of Rs 10 crore for anyone who beheads the DMK leader.
