Actors Urmila Matondkar and Bhagyashree to return to TV

Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actors Urmila Matondkar and Bhagyashree will return to television with a dance reality show titled DID Super Moms. The show features Indian mothers as dancing contestants.

Actor Urmila Matondkar is set to make her comeback on TV after almost 10 years. She will be a part of the judging panel on reality TV show, DID Super Moms. Matondkar was last seen on the the judging panel of Marathi TV show Dance India Dance Maharashtra in 2012.

Matondkar will be joined by actor Bhagyashree who marks her debut as a TV judge. She was last seen on TV as a contestant on Smart Jodi, along with her husband, Himalay Dassani.

Choreographer-director Remo D’Souza is expected to be the third judge on the show’s panel.

Confirming the news, Bhagyashree said, “I’m looking forward to it. Being a super mom myself, I wouldn’t call it judging. It would be more like encouraging and providing them a platform to achieve their dreams, to tell their story, to walk a path they choose to.”

Talking about being a Judge, she said, “I’m feeling like a student feels on Teacher’s day.” She called Matondkar a fantastic dancer and added, “I am looking forward to sharing the judging seat with her.”

The third season is expected to go on floors starting the second week of July with actor Jay Bhanushali as the host.
