Chennai: A woman police officer T.Rajeswari in Chennai carried an unconscious man to safety amid heavy rainfall in the state. This incident took place in Chennai’s TP Chatram Police station limits, at a time when the city is totally inundated with rainwater.

In a video of the incident, Inspector Rajeswari has seen carrying the man on her shoulders and instructing fellow police personnel to call an autorickshaw or an ambulance to revive him and get him to safety.

According to the information, Rajeswari immediately puts the unconscious individual in the three-wheeler safely and sends two men along with him.

T, Rajeswari, a Lady Police inspector, hurriedly instructed the accompanying cops to ensure that he gets medical attention.

Rajeshwari, an inspector with the Tamil Nadu police who won praise after a video emerged of her rescuing an unconscious man from the Chennai flood, on Friday received a ‘certificate of appreciation from Chief Minister MK Stalin.

The man allegedly got injured and fell unconscious when a tree branch fell on him. The man, identified as Udhayakumar, 28, underwent treatment at a hospital and is said to be out of danger.
