New Delhi: A tremblor measuring a magnitude intensity of 4.8 struck the Afghanistan capital in the early morning hours of Monday, April 11, 2022. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) shared a seismograph highlighting the affected areas on Twitter.
“Earthquake of magnitude 4.8 occurred on April 11, 2022, 07:11 am IST on latitude 32.98 and longitude 70.44 with a depth of 10 km located 209 km Southeast (SE) of Kabul, Afghanistan,” the NCS tweeted.
Another earthquake measuring 4.7 jolted the Fayzabad district of Afghanistan on Monday. The NCS informed with a caption,“Earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred on April 11, 2022, 06:59 am IST on latitude 36.46 and latitude 71.50 with a depth of 80 km located 110 km Southeast (SE) of Fayzabad, Afghanistan.”
No reports regarding damages or casualties have been reported so far.
