New Delhi: An earthquake with a magnitude intensity of 4.0 on the Richter scale jolted India’s neighbouring country Myanmar on Monday, May 23, 2022.
The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) shared a seismograph on Twitter, highlighting the affected areas.
“Earthquake of magnitude 4.0 occurred on May 25, 2022, 09:26 IST on latitude 22.49 and longitude 93.68 with a depth of 5 km located in Myanmar,” the NCS informed.
No reports of damages to life or property have surfaced so far.
The country recently experienced a tremblor of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale on Saturday, May 23, 2022.
