New Delhi: A mild tremblor measuring a magnitude intensity of 4.6 on the Richter scale jolted the Indian state of Chhattisgarh on Friday, July 29, 2022.
The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) took to Twitter and shared a seismograph highlighting the affected areas.
“Earthquake of Magnitude 4.6 occurred on July 29, 2022, at 12:56 IST, on latitude 23.31 and longitude 82.53 with a depth of 16 km, located 69km West-Northwest of Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, India,” the NCS tweeted.
No reports of damages or casualties surfaced so far.
