New Delhi: A mild earthquake measuring a magnitude intensity of 4.1 on the Richter scale jolted the capital city of Nepal during the early hours of Monday, July 25, 2022.
The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) took to Twitter and shared a seismograph highlighting the affected regions.
Informing about the earthquake, the NCS tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude 4.1 occurred on July 25, 2022, at 05:52 IST on latitude 27.92 and longitude 85.51 with a depth of 10km located 29km NE of Kathmandu, Nepal.”
The earthquake in Nepal was experienced a day after a 3.6 magnitude tremblor struck the Uttarkashi region of Uttarakhand on Sunday, July 24, 2022.
No reports of damages or casualties surfaced so far.
