New Delhi: A tremblor measuring a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale struck the Diglipur region of Andaman and Nicobar Islands on the early morning of Friday, April 04, 2022. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) shared a seismograph on Twitter, highlighting the affected areas.
“Earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred on April 01, 2022, 06:40 am IST on latitude 12.52 and longitude 93.65 with a depth of 52 km located 110 km Southeast (SE) of Diglipur, Andaman and Nicobar Island, India,” the NCS tweeted.
No reports surrounding casualties or damages have surfaced so far.
