Tremblor: 3.7 magnitude earthquake jolts Arunachal Pradesh

New Delhi: A mild earthquake measuring a magnitude intensity of 3.7 on the Richter scale jolted the state of Arunachal Pradesh on the morning of Friday, July 08, 2022.

The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) shared a seismograph on Twitter, highlighting the affected regions. The earthquake struck around 10 am with Kamle district as the epicentre.

Informing about the tremblor, the NCS wrote, “Earthquake of magnitude 3.7 occurred on July 08, 2022, at 10:00 am on latitude 27.65 and longitude 94.25 with a depth of 12 km located in Kamle, Arunachal Pradesh, India.”

No reports of damages to life and property surfaced so far.
