Toolsidas Junior Trailer Releases on February 19

Mumbai: Actor Rajiv Kapoor’s swansong Toolsidas Junior, co-starring Sanjay Dutt, is scheduled to release on March 4, 2022, the makers announced on Friday. The trailer of which released today and it’s a fun ride around the game snooker

Gulshan Kumar and T-Series launched an official trailer of Ashutosh Gowariker Productions’ Toolsidas Junior. The trailer for Sanjay Dutt and late Rajiv Kapoor’s sports drama Toolsidas Junior was released on Saturday, after much anticipation. 

Rajiv Kapoor plays a snooker player who is mainly interested in the sport because of his 13-year-old son (Varun). He also competes in snooker tournaments to motivate his son. The youngster wishes that his father wins the snooker championship since he wanted his younger brother to hoist the golden trophy.

All their ambitions are shattered when his father is defeated in the tournament. When he attempts to avenge his father’s defeat, things take an emotional turn. He meets a snooker champion (Sanjay Dutt), who assists him in winning the championship match, which has only one winner. The trailer concludes with scenes depicting the difficulties and delights that the little boy endures as he attempts to win the tournament.

Dutt tweeted,“A glimpse of the story like never seen before” as he posted the trailer on his social media.

For the uninitiated, Toolsidas Junior represents the comeback to the cinema of filmmaker Raj Kapoor’s youngest son Rajiv Kapoor 30 years after his 1990 film Zimmedar, which was Rajiv Kapoor’s final film before his death.

This venture is written and Directed by Mridul. Ashutosh Gowariker and Bhushan Kumar collaborate for the first time in Toolsidas Junior. The two had previously worked together on Swades, with T-Series providing the soundtrack only.

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and Bhushan Kumar attended a special screening of actor Rajiv Kapoor’s final film to pay tribute to his memory which was attended by Ranbir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
