New Delhi: An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter scale struck Manali, Himachal Pradesh, on Tuesday morning.
There were no reports of any damage to human life or property.
The tremors occurred around 6 am when most people were still asleep. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported the epicenter to be at 108 km North-Northwest of the Manali town.
The NCS tweeted that, “An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on Richter scale occurred on October 26, 2021, at 6:02 am IST at a latitude of 33.18, longitude 76.88 and a depth of 10kms, located 108 km North-Northwest of Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
The tremors occurred two days after a magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck the Kargil district of Ladakh, Jammu, and Kashmir, on late Sunday evening.
