Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has decided to give a promotion to a Police constable who saved a child and three others from communal clashes in Karauli, Rajasthan.
Bravery, Honesty, and Responsibilities of a 31-year-old constable Netresh Sharma of the Karauli Kotwali police station – Praised by the Chief Minister of State. And In fact, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot spoke to Sharma and issued orders that he, be promoted to Head Constable for his act of bravery and humanity.

It has been reported that three women and a child had got trapped after vandals set fire to houses and shops during the communal clashes witnessed in Karauli on Saturday. Sharma came to their rescue and managed to save all four, including the child and mother.

Constable Sharma had seen the weeping child inside the house and rushed inside to save the occupants of the building. The mother had wrapped the child in a cloth to protect him from the fire.

Curfew, meanwhile, was imposed in the Rajasthan district till April 7 to keep the law and order situation under control.
