New Delhi: So, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi is not only under the influence of his third wife Bushra Bibi-controlled jinns (spirits), but is also a drug addict!

In a shocking disclosure, his former teammate and Pakistan pacer Sarfaraz Nawaz has accused him of being a drug addict, corroborating Imran’s ex-wife Reham Khan’s similar charges.

Former Test bowler Sarfaraz Nawaz, in the course of a TV talk show for a Pakistani news channel, said Imran has been consuming charas (cannabis) on a regular basis, media reports said on Tuesday.

Not only charas, Imran also snorts cocaine, Sarfaraz said.

Imran and Sarfaraz were known to don the colors of Pakistan on the cricket pitch together during the 1970s and 1980s.

Referring to a 1987 incident from a tour, where Imran had some difficulties in bowling against England, he said, the future PM visited his (Sarfaraz’s) house in Islamabad to consume drugs.

“Imran has been consuming cannabis. He used to do it in London and even at my home. In 1987, when Pakistan faced England in a cricket match and he did not bowl well, he had come to my house in Islamabad along with Mohsin Khan, Abdul Qadir, and Salim Malik for a meal. There, he consumed charas. He also snorts something and consumes cocaine as well. In London, he would roll something and snort it”, said Sarfaraz.

When asked if he could prove it, the ex-pacer said: “Bring him before me and let’s see if he denies it. I am not the lone eyewitness. There are many others in London as well.”

Sarfaraz Nawaz is not the only one to level such serious charges against the Pakistan PM.

The former all-rounder cricketer’s ex-wife, Reham Khan, had also claimed that Imran was not only a womanizer but also a regular drug abuser. Imran used to physically assault her and was in a live-in relationship with a married person.

In her book, Rehan had accused Imran of consuming heroin as well as other banned drugs like Rohypnol.

Sarfaraz was part of the Pakistan cricket team from 1969 to 1984, playing a total of 55 Tests and 45 ODIs for the national team. He retired in 1985 and became a member of the National Assembly. He and Imran shared the dressing room for a long time and also spent some time off the field with each other.
