Odisha-based experts have said that the state government may invest a huge amount to develop special infrastructure for this. The state government’s plan to promote EV in the state and develop special infrastructure for EV will generate employment for residents.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi a few days back launched the vehicle scrapping policy, in which he said that “The Vehicle Scrapping Policy is aimed at creating an eco-system for phasing out unfit and polluting vehicles in an environmentally friendly and safe manner. “Vehicle scrapping will help phase out unfit and polluting vehicles in an environment-friendly manner,”
