Mumbai: India’s most richest man Mukesh Ambani on Tuesday said that “India will grow to be among the top three economies in the world in the next two decades and per capita income would more than double.”
I firmly believe that in the next two decades our per capita income will go from USD 1800-2000 per capita to USD 5000 per capita, Ambani said.
Mukesh Ambani is head of Reliance Industries Ltd.
The Facebook head Mark Zuckeberg also said that “India’s middle-class is about 50 percent of the nation’s total number of households and it will grow three to four percent per year.”
India is now fifth largest economy in the world after the USA, China, Japan and Germany.
Facebook and a lot of other companies and entrepreneurs in the world have a golden opportunity to be in India, to be part of this economic and social transformation that will accelerate in the coming decades, Mark added.
