Amravati: Andhra Pradesh recorded 10.7 per cent economic growth in the second quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal despite the impact of El Niño, with agriculture registering the highest growth of 13.5 per cent, followed by industry at 10.6 per cent and services at 9.9 per cent, read an official press release.
Planning Department officials presented the July 2026 monthly economic report to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his camp office in Amaravati.
The state’s real Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) growth rate increased from 6.5 per cent in 2023-24 to 9.9 per cent in 2025-26, and remained higher than the national growth rate for the past two years, said the press release.
Naidu directed officials to formulate comprehensive plans to achieve the state’s 15 per cent growth target despite the El Niño crisis and called for effective technology integration across government departments to improve performance.
