Mumbai : Jhund, Amitabh Bachchan’s much-anticipated film, has finally unveiled its trailer. The film, directed by Sairat filmmaker Nagraj Popat rao Manjule, tells the storey of Vijay Barse, the pioneer of Slum Soccer. Amitabh portrays a football coach in the biopic who is enthusiastic about uniting a group of poor, disadvantaged youngsters from challenging backgrounds in the hopes of giving them a new reason to survive and alter their lives. Despite being involved in gang conflicts and thefts, he believes the organisation isn’t wicked in the heart.
No one believes Amitabh’s vision, though. He’s been told time and time again that he should abandon the squad. To make matters worse for the coach, the group refuses to listen to him and get embroiled in a gang brawl. The teaser also teases a tragic death scenario for the audience to see.
