New Delhi: Hollywood actor Maisie Williams said that she will do a Bollywood film if it involves singing and dancing, during a recent promotional interview.
British actors Maisie Williams and Thomas Brodie-Sangster gave an interview on Disney+ Hotstar for a promotional video of their upcoming series, Pistols.
Williams became a global sensation with her role of Arya Stark from HBO original series Game of Thrones. She revealed she was a Bollywood fan though she has never been to India.
“I’ve never been to India so the best Indian food I’ve had has been here in the UK. I used to live above an Indian and would get food from there every night from my way home for probably six to eight months,” the 25-year-old shared.
Asked whether she has seen a Bollywood movie, Williams said she hasn’t but would love to be a part of one if it has singing and dancing.
“I haven’t had the pleasure to watch any Bollywood film yet, but I would love to be part of one with a good script, singing and dancing,” the actor said
Created by Moulin Rouge and written by Craig Pearce, Pistols features Williams as punk icon Jordan, whose real name was Pamela Rooke, and Brodie-Sangster as Malcolm McLaren.
The series is based on Steve Jones’ 2017 memoir, Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol, and traces the journey of the iconic band from how it was created to punk stardom and how they changed the music industry.
