New Delhi: An earthquake measuring a magnitude intensity of 3.8 on the Richter scale jolted the Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) shared seismographs highlighting the affected areas on Twitter.
“Earthquake of magnitude 3.8 occurred on June 16, 2022, at 03:28 IST on latitude 33.54 and longitude 76.93 with a depth of 5 km located 78 km SSW of Alchi (Leh ), India,” the NCS wrote.
No reports of damage to life or property surfaced.
