World noted strength of India in health sector during Covid-19 pandemic: PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi through webinar on Tuesday praised the health sector of India and corona warriors for its work in Covid-19 pandemic period. PM Modi said that “World noted strength of India in health sector during Covid-19 pandemic.”

The budget allocated for the health sector now is phenomenal and shows the government’s commitment towards this sector, PM Modi said while addressing a webinar on the effective implementation of the Union Budget.

The government of India has exported anti-coronavirus vaccine to around 25 countries so far and many international leaders praised the step of New Delhi government in fight against coronavirus.

PM Modi praised the health sector of India also and said that “government is taking a holistic approach to health care in the country and is not just focused on treatment but also wellness.” More than one crore people in India recovered successfully from the coronavirus after getting infected.

The central government is planning to take the accessibility, affordability in health care to the next level in which use of modern technology increased.

On the work of health department of India – PM Modi said “the government is working on four fronts simultaneously to keep India healthy. GOI (Government of India) is working on health care access to all, prevention of illness and promotion of wellness, planning to provide best health care infrastructure and professionals and to work on a mission mode to overcome problems.”

In the future, demand for Indian doctors and paramedical staff is going to go up around the world and the country will have to be prepared for an increasing demand for Made in India vaccines, PM Modi added.
