UP Assembly Election: Home Minister Amit Shah to Visit state seven times in 10 days

Kanpur: All the political parties in Uttar Pradesh (UP) are heavily activated as the Assembly election-2022 is not far from now. Ahead of the election, Home Minister will visit Uttar Pradesh seven times in just the next ten days – which will help the BJP to connect with residents before an election.

Home Minister Amit Shah and many senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders are on the field ahead of the election. All parties are holding rallies in the state ahead of the election, and political leaders interact with people.

In the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Shah kept the command of the BJP’s campaign in his hands while he was still serving as the party president, and the party won 325 seats in the 403-member Assembly.

As per Shah’s schedule, he will visit Ramlala in Ayodhya in the first week of January, and during this, he will also do a roadshow in Ayodhya. During this tour of Uttar Pradesh, Amit Shah will hold 21 meetings and conduct three roadshows, Home Minister Amit Shah’s roadshows will be held in Bareilly, Ayodhya, and Gorakhpur.

Amit Shah will cover 140 assembly constituencies in his tour of Uttar Pradesh – Seven Assembly Constituencies will be covered in one meeting of Amit Shah. In three OBC assembly constituencies, two urban areas, one scheduled caste and tribe assembly constituency, and one Muslim majority.

Assembly Constituency will include three roadshows – that will be held in the last three days, which will be in Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, and Bareilly.  In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 62 Lok Sabha seats, defeating the SP-BSP-RLD alliance and the Congress.
