New Delhi, May 10: Tennis legend Andy Murray, who was away from the tennis court for seven weeks because of an injury, will return to the ATP Challenger tour event in Bordeaux and compete at the Geneva Open on May 25, the media reported on Friday.

Currently the world number 77, he suffered a serious ankle ligament injury during the third-round loss to Thomas Machac at the Miami Open in March.

The 36-year-old Murray is set to compete in three major tennis tournaments this year—the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open.

Speaking to reporters, Murray revealed that although he will retire this summer, he did not say where his final appearance will be. “I’m likely not going to play past this summer.”

The former world number one, Murray has won three Grand Slams, the US Open once, and Wimbledon twice. He also won 46 ATP singles titles and two gold medals at the Olympics. For 41 weeks, he remained world number one.
