New Delhi, April 16: British tennis player Andy Murray will not have surgery on an ankle injury he had suffered last month during the Miami Open in the USA but there’s no set date given for his return, the media reported.
“The latest update from Andy is that he is now out of the walking boot and will not be having surgery on his ankle.” His spokesperson said on Monday.
Three-time Grand Slam winner Andy Murray, 36, said earlier this year he wants to compete at the French Open and the Paris Olympics before he retires.
In his career, Murray has won three major trophies in tennis including two Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016 and the US Open in 2012. He also won two men’s single Olympic gold medals in the Olympic Games.
