RSS Chief Shri Mohan Bhagwat ji unveiled the monumental ‘Arihant’ volumes of “Arya Yug Vishay Kosh” at a historic event hosted by Gitarth Ganga in Mumbai, reinforcing India’s timeless intellectual heritage. The occasion was graced by the auspicious presence of Spiritual Sovereign His Holiness Acharya Yugbhushan Suriji Maharaj Saheb – 79th successor of Tirthankar Shree Mahavir.

The ‘Arihant’ series, part of Gitarth Ganga’s encyclopedic compilation spanning 108 core subjects and over 15,000 sub-topics, honors the scholarly legacy of India’s seers. For over 32 years, Ahmedabad-based Gitarth Ganga has championed the preservation and global dissemination of India’s knowledge heritage, amplifying its cultural soft power. The event celebrated India’s ancient wisdom and global vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is One Family).

Among others, Shri Vijay Chauthaiwale – In-charge Department of Foreign Affairs, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Dr. Sachin Chaturvedi, Vice Chancellor, Nalanda University, Shri Nimesh Kampani, Founder, JM Financial Group, Shri Prithviraj Kothari, MD, RiddhiSiddhi Bullion, Shri Hitesh Doshi, Waaree Group, Shri Jaxay Shah, CMD Savvy Group & President – Quality Council of India, Shri Sukhraj Nahar Seth of Nahar Group, Dr. Bhaskar Shah, Cardiologist and Shri Dineshbhai Shah, Manilakshmi Tirth Parivar joined Bhagwat ji during the unveiling ceremony.

Shri Mohan Bhagwatji, RSS Chief, hailed the initiative’s transformative impact:

“Five thousand years ago, our ancestors declared that preserving and sharing knowledge is the greatest service to the nation. This unparalleled treasure of scriptures offers more than scholars could ever need, freeing us from a foreign mind-set. And it is great that Gitarth Ganga is into this exalted service” He vowed to promote this knowledge to strengthen India’s cultural foundations.

His Holiness Acharya Yugbhushan Suriji Maharaj Saheb reflected:

European powers colonised each aspect of Indian humanity. Even though physical decolonisation happened 80 years back, yet colonial mind-set endured. We need to decolonise it now. This Sankraman Kal offers a never before decolonising opportunity.”

Historic MoU with Nalanda University

A landmark MoU was signed with Nalanda University, under the Ministry of External Affairs, to advance collaborative research in Indic studies. Dr. Sachin Chaturvedi, Vice Chancellor of Nalanda University, praised the partnership:

“Gitarth Ganga and Jyot are doing astonishing work, something that we should have undertaken, but that is what they envisioned and have done. We are reviving the Shastrarth tradition and launching a 40-day Indic wisdom course for all students to bridge ancient and modern academia.”

Global Vision: VK4 Conclave Announced

Gitarth Ganga and Jyot unveiled the Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Ki Oar – Sankraman Kaal (VK4) conclave, set for January 16–22, 2026, in Mumbai. Featuring 10+ sessions, 50 panellists, 25,000 sq. ft. of immersive exhibitions, podcasts, and student competitions, VK4 will explore how India’s “One World – One Family” philosophy can make global governance free, fair and just.

His Holiness pointed out one example of colonized mindset by highlighting the practice of using GDP as measure to decide nation’s economic growth. He clearly said that “GDP is in fact an illusionary indicator of a nation’s economic strength, wealth and wellbeing.”

This event marks a pivotal moment in Gitarth Ganga’s mission to revive India’s intellectual heritage and foster global unity through timeless wisdom.
