New Delhi: Jaipur Pink Panthers ousted Gujarat Giants 36-31 in the Pro Kabaddi League at the Sheraton Grand, Bengaluru, on Tuesday, February 08, 2022. Gujarat Giants won the toss and selected the right side of the court, whereas Jaipur Pink Panthers went to raid first.
Jaipur’s Deepak Niwas Hooda began the raid and took two touchpoints off Gujarat’s Deepak Singh and Girish Ernak. Jaipur’s Arjun Deshwal conducted a do-or-die raid and won a point. However, Gujarat’s Girish and Parvesh Bhainswal conducted a super tackle and earned two points for the Giants.
Deepak inflicted an All Out, and Jaipur gained a three-point lead. Jaipur’s Sandeep Dhull made a tight ankle-hold on Gujarat’s Ajay Kumar and took him down. Jaipur won the first half 20-14.
Though Gujarat’s Pardeep Kumar made a dubki, the opponents pounced on him and snatched a point. Arjun made a running touchpoint off Gujarat’s Sunil Kumar on the right corner as he entered the lobby and returned to his side of the mat with a point.
Gujarat’s Hadi Oshtorak and Parvesh conducted a Super tackle and took Arjun off the mat. Deepak too went for a raid, but Gujarat’s Rakesh Narwal initiated another Super tackle, and won two points.
Jaipur substitute Brijendra Singh Chaudhary conducted a strategic All Out and got a bonus. Meanwhile, Deepak conducted a successful do-or-die raid and received a Super 10. Jaipur won the match 36-31 against Gujarat.
