New Delhi, August 1: Indian runners Akashdeep Singh, Vikash Singh, and Paramjeet Bisht failed to win a medal at Thursday’s men’s 20km race walk in the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris, the media reported.
Vikash Singh,28, who was the fastest Indian in the race, clocked 1:22:36 and ranked 30th in the race, Paramjeet Bisht clocked 1:23:48 and ranked 37th, while Akashdeep Singh didn’t finish the race.
Ecuador’s Brain Daniel Pintado won the gold at the race with a time of 1:18:55 and ranked number one. Other medal winners in the race are Brazil’s Caio Bonfim who won silver with a time of 1:19:09 and Spanish Alvaro Martin who took bronze as he clocked 1:19:11.
