New Delhi: Former World No. 1 Divyansh Singh Panwar shot an impressive 250 points in the senior final round to bag two consecutive titles in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle finals of the 64th National Shooting Championship Competitions (NSCC) 2021 in the MP Shooting Academy Range on Friday.
The Rajasthani shooter previously won the Junior Men’s title by scoring a 252.2 in the championship finals. Maharashtra’s Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil won two silver medals as he closed in at 2nd place with 249.3 points in the senior category and 251.2 points in the junior category.
Hriday Hazarika of Assam won bronze at 228.2 points in the senior category, whereas Parth Makhija of New Delhi shot 229.9 points and ranked third in the junior category.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh’s Aakash Kushwaha and Pragati Dubey won the mix-team trap competition against Haryana’s Lakshay Sheoran and Bhavna Chaudhary by a close margin of 42-37 in the shooting finals at the New Moti Bagh Gun Club Rangers, Patiala. Team Tamil Nadu ranked third in the event.
