ITBP wins the all-India police commando competition

New Delhi, April 1: The National Security Guard (NSG) organised the all-India police commando competition, in which the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) won the award.

It was the 13th edition of the all-India police commando competition, in which a total of 24 top commando teams had participated in the competition, all of which were from the central armed police forces and state police forces. It was a 10-day competition that began on March 21.

The ITBP team not only won the AIPC but also won the prize for best in firing and best in strategy.

The ITBP shared their photos on their Twitter account, announcing their win and writing, “The best of the best! Competing against 24 teams from various state police forces and CAPFs, ITBP won the 13th AIPCC at NSG, Manesar. The team won three trophies: the winner’s trophy, the best in firing, and the best strategy.

The 13th edition of the competition was held in Manesar, Haryana. It was conducted after a two-year period due to the COVID-19 situation. The first edition of the all-India police commando competition was organised in Tekanpur, Madhya Pradesh, in the year 2009.

The competition was organised by the all-India police commando and NSG, and it was designed in such a way that they could assess the best police commandos and teams and their physical fitness, tactical skills, mental toughness, shooting sense, and individual leadership qualities.

The Indo-Tibetan border police are known for their tough training for military security purposes. The TTBP team is very famous for its mountain training and work. As it conducted the tough training, the commando of the team was also deployed in the tough and remote areas for national security purposes.
