CM Rupani dedicates Asmavati riverfront in Porbandar

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani dedicated the Asmavati Riverfront- Saurashtra’s first-ever riverfront, in Porbandar.

The Asmavati riverfront is 2 km long. It connects Porbandar and Chhaya municipalities. It has facilities such as recreation area for children, meditation park, flower park, food zone, and a party plot with a capacity of 2,000, and more.

Boost to MSME sector as cabinet decides to waive off various approvals

The government will soon bring ‘The Gujarat Micro Small & Medium Enterprises Facilitation Ordinance – 2019 to boost the MSME sector industries.

The MSME units will be relieved from obtaining various approvals from the government for first three years of functioning. After this period, they shall be able to get approvals in the next six months.

Adani Wilmar to launch India’s first branded ready-to-cook Khichdi

Adani Wilmar Ltd, which markets rice, edible oils, pulses and other consumer essentials under ‘Fortune’ brand, is all set to launch India’s first branded ready-to-cook Khichdi.

Khichdi, which is considered a healthy, wholesome and hassle-free food, is mainly consumed in Gujarat, Delhi, Punjab, West Bengal, and South India, where it is known as pongal. The right-cooked khichdi demands a correct proportion of rice, dal and spices, which differs from place-to-place.

Marriott International opens The Surat Marriott Hotel in Gujarat

Greenville-based Auro Hotels had announced the debut of its second international hotel with the opening of the Surat Marriott Hotel in Surat, Gujarat.

The newly-transformed 209-room Surat Marriott Hotel is an upscale-luxury hotel. The hotel has views of the city and Tapi River and amenities including recharging stations, high-speed wireless Internet, mini-bar, in-room dining services, a 24-hour gym with fitness trainers, spa and salon. It also has outdoor swimming oasis, business center, and over 44,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, the M-Club, designed for business traveler and exclusively made for the Marriott Bonvoy Elite members.

Jio employees join ‘Jio Swachh Rail Abhiyan’

The Jio drive’s message of Clean India went into a mission mode to clean up about 900 Railway Stations in various cities and towns simultaneously.

Jio’s Swachh Rail Abiyaan, a nation-wide drive towards creating a clean environment, saw participation by over 25,000 people which included Jio employees, associates, partners and their family members. In one of the biggest cleanliness drives in India, Jio was able to mobilize efforts of their employees to positively impact live of millions of common people with cleaner railway stations.
